yes...Tallarook is an epic boat...

shes gone through some hard times, built in the last years of WW2 she was used as a general duties vessel, a tasmanian company bought her from the navy and she became a mothership for the abalone and cray fishing industry.

in 1985 she survived going offshore, hitting rocks on Bass Strait, believed to be a complete wreck she was re floated back to Devonport, where her hull was rebuilt.

after this, in 1996 she was purchased by a company in queensland, initially looking at re selling her as a fishing vessel, they found she was to run down for any real use, and the environmental desruction of her was now to expensive.. it set the owners on a path to recondtion her, and turn her to sail. the rest is just evolution.

she is now a luxury yaught, and we are about to drink her out of beer! YEOW!
